Recommended yearly for at risk cats. This viral condition is fairly common to our area. We see about 2 to 3 suspect cases per year. If a cat is infected by this virus, it is fatal. The mode of transmission is still in debate, it is not clear how the virus is passed from one animal to another. And, there is no cure, it is just a matter of time.
